It's getting there...
Hopefully this weekend it will be done. Once I get the last coat of paint on then we pinstripe it. Gonna use a double black pin stripe, one wide one thin. Any suggestions on applying tape pinstripes? Wind still sucking here yet.sigpicMrBill Been a GSR member on and off since April 2002
1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980
2015 CAN AM RTS
Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.Tags: None

Are the pin stripes in tape..? If so, may I suggest that you put the first couple of coats of clear on fairly light and dry. If you pour the clear on too wet to begin with, it might eat into the tape. It might even be a good thing to spray on a few "drier' coats, let it set overnight and then come back, scuff the clear and put on a few final wet coats.1979 GS1000S,
