the standard size as recommended and fitted by suzuki.
any wider and you will run into some sort of negative affect.

100 front, 130 rear are generally recommended. Some people go to 110 front, but some bikes have fender clearance issues plus that size is a little big for the 850's using a 1.85" wide front wheel.

I will keep her standard. I want to be safe and the bike looks pretty with the size tires she has any ways. I guess it is just my crazy mind trying to see what else can be done to her.

Your bike is a GS850GL -- the L makes a difference, so make sure you include that when asking about parts and such.

Anyhoo, yes, you do need to stick with stock tire sizes on motorcycles.

Tubby boring useless low-tech transportation appliances that lean the wrong way (Cars. Ew.) can sometimes actually benefit from wider tires, but motorcycles do not.

On your bike, these sizes would be:
100/90-19 front
130/90-16 rear

There are some tires (the Dunlop Elite III, for example) that use old-skool letter sizing for some reason. The correct sizes in these would be:
MM90-19 front
MT90-16 rear
