Mirrors
I'd like to get some new mirrors for my 450 and I'm looking for some ideas. I have cheapie ones on the bike right now because my brother in law broke one of the mirrors I had.Tags: None

If you're not wanting to stay stock, Dennis Kirk has some nice ones that have Suzuki scrolled along the bottom. I have them on both three bikes and I think they look good. Very reasonable priced too. terrylee

If possible, shop for them in person.
Some mirrors are perfectly flat, others are slightly convex, like the stock mirrors.
Some riders prefer flat, others prefer convex. The convex ones give you a wider view behind you, and also tend to reduce a jittery view due to vibration.

Lots of the bigger hondas of early 80's had decent convex mirrors- and forward side was nicely curved; no vibration and stick out enuff for good viewing. I scooped an ebay set to replace my stock suzuki ones ( I got tired of staring at my shoulders)- big difference!1981 gs650L

Some models (not sure if it was all of them) had reverse threads on the left-side mirrors so they wouldn't unscrew in the wind.
