Make an L look like an E

How difficult is it to swap out the seat, bikini fairing, and side covers from a '79 E to a '79 L?

Looking back, I should have just bought an E. But I own an L and I've dumped like 1600 into parts for it. Maybe the better option is to find a gutted E and put all of my mechanical parts onto it.

    What do you think?

Maybe the best course of action is to sell the 'L' and buy a different model.

The 81 e I started with has a goofy lunch box and cast wheels. Later I found a 78 with spoke wheels and dual front discs. I keep the 81 e because its sorted out but the bike I'll keep for sure is the 78.

Nothing wrong with making a mid course correction...

By the way, I meant a tail, not a bikini fairing.

      Thanks

That's OK, the bottom half of a bikini usually covers (part of) a tail.
