    Good clear coat

I'm currently painting several parts matte black using the VHT paint. Can anyone recommend a good clearcoat that would be pretty tough so the paint doesn't chip? I've read through other post and people are recommending a 2K clearcoat but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the stores? Also, would putting clearcoat over a matte finish turn the paint gloss black?

Don't forget that, if you use a "pro" clear over vht base, it might melt it.
You can use vht clear, or do a test with the other clear, first.

I've had good luck with doing the 2k over parts store rattle can. I make sure to leave a few weeks in between before I hit it with the clear.
