NOS paint still good to use?

If NOS paint has been well sealed over the years, would it still be good to use?

If it hasn't been opened, it might be OK. If any air got to it at all, it's probably toast. Open it up, stir it real good and you'll know.

I would take it to a paint store and let them shake on their paint shaker machine. I have had some really nasty paint come out OK after that.

How old and what kind of paint?

Only if you apply it using a NOS spray gun.

I am assuming from the 80's. Someone is selling it online. It is the marble ontario blue that is on the 1980 GS550L I own.

              I would stay away!

I have seen guys use paint out of pretty ancient cans, but I would probably get a color matched new paint.
