    Just might have to change the name ...

    ... of my son's bike.

    Here is "Rat Bagger" before:

    Had the header pipe ceramic coated.

    Not quite as shiny as chrome, but pretty darn close.



    Here, the ceramic header is forward (to the right) of the footpeg, the chrome muffler is behind (to the left) of it:



    It cost $60 to have it chemically stripped of the chrome, nickel and copper, then $135 for the ceramic coat. We did not bother straightening out the few small dents and scratches, hoping that the super-bright pipes would draw your eye away from them. I think it will work.

      Yes, I did. Great work, and quickly, too.

      The chemical strip was only a few days, but was a full week before I could get back to pick it up, the ceramic coat was another week.

      For those who might want to check out the shop or even send them your parts, Aesthetic Finishers.

      They do regular powder coating, too.
