The bike will never deny you a "ride". It will never leave you or cheat on you. It is way less expensive to maintain. Most of the reasons I dont have nor NEED a girldfriend. Life is simple and quiet for me so why mess up a good thing.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Nasty,
another bike would be the win/win solution, except for that Canadian insurance
Ignore all these other posters. I took my wife on a ride on our 1st date. She proved to be an excellent passenger, so it becomes an nice intimate time for both of us to ride together.
I can ride where I want and as fast as I choose. She gazes about from the back seat and just goes with the flow. She knows to always hang on, as emergencies or passing may arise. She's tall enough to look over my shoulder, so there are few surprises. She did ride her own bike (GPz) for a few years, but motherhood put an end to that.
Another thought, go a buddy who will swap bikes with you for a day? At least you could get in a test ride to see what sort of passenger she is before committing to buying another bike. Or, maybe rent one for a day.1978 GS 1000 (since new)

Better than listening to the endless, mindless dribble and lies that a woman tells.
Now then, If I could find one that was HONEST, TRUSTABLE, and not a total "C" then that would be a different story. But thats not likely to happen.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

get a set of early gixxer rear peg mounts , weld on some tabs, and they double as an exhaust mount. I have a set for my road kill bike, just haven't installed them yet. { if I do the wife will want to ride it with me. Hello Jack
I was trying to show my 16-year-old nephew some pics of the new V-Max on the computer a few years ago, explaining about 190 horsepower, etc., but he seemed to be more interested in looking at pictures of women.
I explained to him that if he had a bike like that, the women would flock to him, but he wanted to cut out the middleman (the bike).
Fortunately, he's matured somewhat and is now interested in motorcycles.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
