    Fuel stains...

Does anyone know how to remove white fuel stains on a old plastic air box. I've tried a few things without much success. I'm going to get a quick disconnect fuel line coupling from Z-1 to help out on this.

Scrub it with a green dish scrubbie ( scotchbrite ) an some ammonia. Dillute the ammonia down to about 1/4 ammonia to the rest water.

Then let it dry real good and rub in several applications of Mothers Back To Black..found at most auto parts stores. Rub it in till its almost dried up and apply more and work it into the plastic real good.

Another alternative is to just paint it after the ammomnia has removed as much of the stain as possible.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
