"L"ong "L"egs, now more comfortab"L"e
Got my floorboards installed today and took a ride. I love being able to stretch my legs a little. I never liked the stock riding position much, knees bent too much and the footpegs too far back in relation to the seat. I've go to get used to the heel/toe shifting, but that won't be a problem. I do need to get some new rubber for the heel/toe since the 30 year old rubber split when sliding them on. Here's the pics:

Just realize how severely you have now limited the lean angle. Drive very cautious. You come into as uprise decreasing radius turn and you will low side if you push it over onto those boards.
i have very bad knees as well but I put foot pegs on case guards. My bad knee is on the left but I still manage to shift.
i looked again; are those boards hinged? Looks like they fold up which will help a lot.Last edited by posplayr; 09-14-2014, 05:42 PM.
