    Risers on a 82 GS1100GL

What are you all doing for bar risers on 82 GS1100GL? Looking to do drag bars but heard bars may hit tank. is there a direct bolt on riser that the triple tree doesn't need to be modified as in ground down etc.. Thinking maybe an extra inch or 2 but am I going to have to order longer cables? I kind of dig the drag bar look with a dished tank with newer speedometer and tachometer separate (basically get rid of the cluster box). Any pics?

    Thanks

Might be able to use the rox anti-vibration risers, don't know if they would give you enough height for drag bars but at least 2 inches I think.

On cables, if you currently have the stock pull back bars your cables will be plenty long. Might even need shorter ones.

Here is the risers I was talking about.

How would they mount with the 2 bolt holes on existing risers? Not feeling grinding down existing risers. Bars are relatively cheap as in saw them for $25. Not sure if want to spend $100 on risers though. lol.

They mount into the current risers/mounts.
