Custom side covers

I have been looking for side covers for my 80 1000G. I am either not looking in the right places or they are truly hard to find. And when they are found there worth there weight in gold.

So now i am starting to think about making some custom ones. If any of you have made custom side covers for your bike of any kind. Post a picture of your creation.

I cant wait to see what you have come up with.

Granted, that's a little expensive considering that they will need to be painted.

Maybe you need to expand your search a bit? Your side cover was used on a few different years and on the GS850G as well, and I'm seeing a few of those on eBay at reasonable prices.

I've never seen a custom side cover that I thought looked right unless the whole rest of the bike was modded by a professional as well.
