I dig it. The tinted screen is a nice touch also.sigpic

Is that various shades of black and gray or a very dark blue?
Either way, ... I like it.

The dark color is called 'matte metallic fir' and is green. The light color is matte white pearl. The accents are all in carbon.
Runs great. Jetted, race Yosh, waiting for a time to do the 1229 or 1327 kit.
Question for you guys: Gold for the wheels to match the calipers, or solid satin black?"Thought he, it is a wicked world in all meridians; I'll die a pagan."

Oh boy.....you asked for opinions. Personally I think black wheels lend a sinister look to a car or cycle. but I think the satin on wheels may look...unclean....but It seems you're going for the stealthy look, and shine may be out of place in this case.....or it may go nicely with the shine on the screen......heck, I dont know....sigpic

Thanks for the great feedback, everyone. I appreciate it. I agree, the fir color could make for interesting counter option, but I don't think my powder coater will match the color exactly. Black really does look mean, Trevor (that 1100 looks fantastic with black wheels), I agree. I think I am decided on that."Thought he, it is a wicked world in all meridians; I'll die a pagan."

I have two spare front wheels for my bike was thinking about getting one powdered coated a satin or glossy black. Still need a spare rear to match yet. I think with the orange crush paint job, black wheels would look nice.sigpicMrBill Been a GSR member on and off since April 2002

I can't help but think that white rims would be a nice contrast and would wrap that beautiful green perfectly. I know white rims would be a constant cleaning process and waaaay less stealthy but I think it looks great on some of the modern bikes.
