Need some info
I have an 83' 750es and I have acquired the side fairings to turn it into a full fairing EF and I have not been able to find out if there is some kind of bracket required to mount these pieces. Can anybody help?Tags: None

I've got mine off right now as well as the assorted hardware so I'll be able to take a couple of photos in the next day or so and post them here. They're fairly simple so shouldn't be too hard to reproduce them.
Jim, FYI most of the fiches don't cover models not sold in the US. Models like the GSX400s and the 750EF and nothing in 750s or 700s for 1984.'84 GS750EF (Oct 2015 BOM) '79 GS1000N (June 2007 BOM) My Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/soates50/

I think the right hand Lockhart cover has a hole in it for the ignition cover and the OEM is solid like the one in my signature.'84 GS750EF (Oct 2015 BOM) '79 GS1000N (June 2007 BOM) My Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/soates50/

Here's the photos. The rail on the main upper bracket stands out about 4 1/4" from the frame downtube. Hopefully your frame has the mounting studs. They have Dzus fasteners and access behind the fairing while mounting will be next to impossibe so you will have to weld/braze a nut on the brackets instead. Good luck. The upper mounts just bolt through your existing forward and rearward rubber mounts for the existing "ES" fairing. You have to rig up a threaded stud or washers as spacers. Threaded stud would work best.

Thx Sandy, great info. I was checking the panels I have and they are exactly the same as yours which leads me to believe they are OEM. As you know this model was not widely distributed so finding the supports may be on the difficult side but i will find them or fab them!! By the way yours looks awesome, shes in great shape for a 30 yr old!!
