    New rear fenders?

Has anyone had any luck with putting aftermarket rear fenders on their bikes? I have an '80 gs850, and am looking at some marauder fenders, but can't find any dimensions.

Nothing? Does anyone have any information of someone else doing it? Possibly another thread that I just haven't come across yet?

You going to post a picture of said "Marauder" fender, or you gonna make me Google it?

It probably also depends on which 850 you have. The 850G does not have much in the way of a "fender", it's all basically a liner under the tail cowl. However, the 850GL has a piece of chrome out there that holds the tail light and license plate.

Bigm1717, I plan on doing it, but I haven't yet. I am looking to do a Street Tracker, or Brat style, so I'm looking into enduro style fenders. I think I'll just steal a metal one off something else & mock it up to see how it looks.
Im new tho, and have only owned my 1000 for a few weeks. It doesn't even have a tank right now.
            FYI.

It's an 850g, I believe. Trying to figure out picture posting on my phone lol. But I hate the look of the plastic "liner" fender on the bike. Also not sure if it's the stock tank, because it's huge. I guess I'll just be doing a lot of trial and error with fenders.

Be sure to figure out the picture thing... we can all learn from what someone else is doing.
