In need of a front fender

Hi gang, I’m not a new member but I had to re-register because I haven’t been in here in so long.

I have a quick question about aftermarket front fenders for a 1979 GS750E. (which is what I have)

Many years ago back in the mid 90’s I bought one of those plastic, black, Maier “Superbike” front fenders from Dennis Kirk, and it fitthe bike perfectly.

I rebuilt the bike last year and the front fender was hurting really bad so I’ve decided to replace it.

Dennis Kirk no longer sells that particular front fender, and the one I did buy (thinking it would fit) doesn’t….

I’ve been on every web site known to man, including all theusual web sites for Café racing parts for these old Suzuki’s, and I can’t seem to find a front fender to replace the one I had - and I’m not crazy about putting another chrome fender back on.

Any help or direction you guys could point me in would be very appreciated, thanks…..

P.S. Attached is a picture of the bike with the fender I’m trying to replace, please no jokes about the front lower scoop. (I like it)

You could use one of the fenders from the 1100E, it looks much like what you had. But forget the front fender...what's up with that scoop????

I'll check out the Fender from the 1100E.

The front scoop......every time I stop at a traffic light or get gas, all I get is compliments on the bike, and people pouring their eyes all over every detail telling me they love it, that's what's up with the front scoop.

I like it, I paid for it, it stays....end of story.

Thanks for the tip about the fender...
