In another life I crashed my 83 1100e and broke the headlight. I used a salvage sourced garden variety 7" light assembly with a couple of home brewed spacers to fill the gap and fit between the stock 8" (not 9" fyi) mounting ears. This got me by until I found a proper 8" light.

IMO the 8" light is one of the (many) big GSs charms, and I think they just look wrong without it..... They are available, but not necessarily cheap.

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Pricey, but, OEM and still available.

Shop online for OEM Headlamp (Gs1100ez/Ed) parts that fit your 1983 Suzuki GS1100E, search all our OEM Parts or call at 800.359.0567

There are other OEM vendors that could be cheaper...

Me: Hey Dan-O. Just wanted to say howdy & love ya!

Dan-O: Howdy and Love you too. Doing good, feeling good.

Me: Give 'em hell, Little Bro!

      Dan-O: Roger that! :)
