Spraymay 2k CAN screw up yer duplicolor underneath, but only if the Dupli isnt fully cured. But its critical that you do all in the proper temperature, and let ALL coats of paint cure fully....boils down to patience. I did my tins in my living room one winter (ol lady almost kicked me out). But even with multiple coats of Spraymax, once cured, i took 400 grit wet, and cleaned it up some before the next coat. After any sanding too, i always take 90% isopropanol and wipe all down quick with a soft cotton rag (old sock).... I even Spraymaxed over a vinyl decal on my tank. sanding each clear coat. Most thought it was painted on. cant put it on too thick either....ANY rattlecan paint....again, patience.

I have used 2 part clear over Krylon many times, basically let the Krylon flash for 15-20 minutes then hit it with the clear. I did not lift or damage the Krylon in anyway.

Not sure about using it over cured Krylon, but the clear I use does not use a reducer, just activator. Sherwin Williams Dimension line.

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.
