82 1100EZ Going in for paint

Hello all, my 82 1100EZ is going in soon to be painted, all around. I'm having the hardest time deciding between having it return to it's former glory and keeping the paint color the same, or going totally custom on it. I've got the whole decal set for it, and all the decals are orange. What colors compliment orange well though? If anyone has pictures of anything similiar, or has ideas on potential colors please let me know. I've been thinking a cream sort of color if I went with a custom color, I also know that blue goes well with orange, but I'm trying to keep away from blue. Again any ideas are welcomed, and appreciated!

(I've got pictures of my bike on my profile, take a look if you have the time)

I prefer stock paint on most bikes, that champagne color is a good one!

However, I have seen some nice custom paint jobs on the 1100e. I think it is ISLEOMAN who has a very tastefully done 1100e with champagne and red.......check it out!

Yes, the champagne is classy. Personally, I LOVE red 83 1100e bikes. And I'm not even a huge fan of red. Isleoman's and Willie's bikes both look great, and borrow from the 1100es paint scheme

      This one I like also.

+1 (That's the way my '82 is painted.)

I'm thinking that I'm going to go with a matte anthracite color, it'll match my Hemet and make the gloss suzuki emblems pop very well.

I like the clear 82 engine look of 1982 with the champagne color really well. I painted mine red later when it was time and went red. I am not a fan of the black engines at all. If you have orange decals, I think that would look badass with the champagne.
