1982 gs1100e kickstand in the way of my rear set.

Anyone else run into this problem? Can't figure out a way to fix this problem without cutting and welding...

Could you show us a pic?

I have concerns about my kickstand's close proximity to shifter linkage (and the operator's foot peg).

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I'll post a pic tomorrow. A little late. But definitely going to be an issue. My foot will not fit between the kickstand and the shifter itself. The linkage is fine it the toe shifter that's the issue.

I had use washers behind the brackets to shim assy. outward.
