dealing with aluminum oxidation

Hey everyone! So I live in a very humid climate (New Orleans) and it seems to really create extreme aluminium oxidation. I'm kinda of a newbie and I did some searching on this forum but still haven't found a good answer is there any way to prevent this and what's the best way to clean this off? The bike is running but it seems like some of it got into the carbs and is perhaps responsible for making the slide stick.

Also, as a follow up question. I want to buy a motorcycle cover (since I have to park the bike in my driveway) any recommendations for a decent cover at a decent price?

I can't really answer how to prevent the oxidation you asked about but I bought my motorcycle cover at Walmart; does pretty good when I decide to actually cover the bike BEFORE it rains

Use WIZARDS POWER SEAL after youve clean it all up. Apply a generous amount and rub it into the metal very well and buff the residual off with Tshirt rags.

I rub it in till its almost dried up and then buff it up with Tshirt rags. Just like waxing a car
