    Are these mirrors reverable?

The mirrors on my GS1000 are cheap and tend to vibrate at odd speeds. So I'm looking at dumping them for OEM.

I'm looking at picking up a pair of mirrors but not having much luck finding ones in excellent condition used and don't want to pay $150 for new ones. I did find a pair of these but they look to be both right hand mirrors. Are these reversible so they can be used on both right and left hand side? The screw in the back seems like it could be loosened and allow the mirror to swivel around 180 degrees. What do you guys think?

Also, does anyone know where these would have come off of?:

Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.;)

Thanks Chuck. Was looking at picking up a pair of those and the nut that goes with it. I still would like to swap out the mirrors I have now since one has already had the glass fall out. Luckily it fell onto something soft in the garage so it didn't break. Still, cheep mirrors are a pain the the butt.

Do you know if the ones in the first pic are reversible? They are NOS OEM and I can get them for 1/4th the price of new from Suzuki.

Side specific far as I know. Use some 5 minute epoxy and glue the glass back in the one that fell out. The top ones you pictured are stock set.

Yep, stock set but looks like they're both right hand mirrors.

I should say the top ones are 'close' to the stock ones. stock ones have two bends and no phillips heads at the back. Here some actual OEM ones I found on ebay.

Ya, I was looking at those. It looks like the back of one has a dent in it but I can't get the seller to verify it or not. Thanks for the heads up though.

I have a bid on those mirrors. Closer look says it's a reflection but even if it's a small imperfection they'll still work. Now I just need to pick up the dampeners and the lock nuts to complete it.

Just received a message from the seller. They're badly dented on the back so no need for anyone here to bid on them... but me. Seriously I sure would like to have these to finish out my GS1000G rebuild.

OK got the mirrors and ordered the vibration damper. Other then finding a stock replacement handlebar for the Daytona bars I have, I'll be complete with the rebuild.

The only question I've had about the "stock" handlebars is how does the substitute part number compare to the original? They are $75 a pop so I'd like to know what they look like and if they're lead filled like the original bars were.

New OEM GS750E handlebars ordered. Man I must just love spending money on this bike. I do have to admit that she's looking pretty darn good these days.

The pair in your second pic were OEM fit to a wide range of GSs, in Europe, at least. They're not sided, as in you can loosen the locknuts top and bottom of the angled shaft and arrange them to fit either side. The bottom mount has a rubber sleeve built in, which actually works well an an anti-blur damper.
I recently picked up a very good pair of later GSX mirrors that sit well on the Yam XS. Mix and match is great with OEM quality. Cheap aftermarket mirrors are usually too light and vibrate / fall apart when subjected to a pile-driver like the XS.
