    Tail Loop

Has anyone put a Tail Loop on? Looking at doing a Cafe Racer/Bobber project for my 82 GS1100GL. Where did you get your tail loop from (cost) and if any pics?

    Thanks
    Jeff

Make up your mind. Even with the terms loosely defined, these two have nothing in common.

Here's one. Lots more available, cheap. I'll be ordering one for my cb550 cafe project.

The frame on my wife's 850L is 1", I doubt that your 1100L would have anything smaller.

Actually, I can guarantee they are the same size, they share a part number for the frame.

That doesn't answer the question. How about you not be a dick per say and either say yes or no or dont reply. Some on this site as you may not know with the lack of post you have, actually have done stuff like this before and dont mind helping others.

As long as the od's are the same you can make a step bushing, or pin, to slide into the frame if the id's differ.
Distance between ends would be the only problem. I think you would have to cut your frame and give that fellow a center to center measurement to see if he'll custom bend one for you.

On second thought, see if he'll custom bend one before you cut the frame
