    gs1000 engine cover logos.

the gs1000's and many similar 2valve models have on one side of the engine a suzuki logo and the other DOHC. these are different sizes, i'd like to go with Suzuki on both sides, does anyone know whether other model parts are of the correct sizing?

Your first problem is that those logos are NLA.

The superceded parts numbers give you the 80's style side covers
    1978 GS 1000 (since new)
1979 GS 1000 (The Fridge, superbike replica project)
    1978 GS 1000 (parts)
    1981 GS 850 (anyone want a project?)
    1981 GPZ 550 (backroad screamer)
    1970 450 Mk IIID (THUMP!)
    2007 DRz 400S
    1999 ATK 490ES
    1994 DR 350SES

There have been various different model GS bikes over the years that have "SUZUKI" lettering on the ignition cover emblem. The trick will be finding one of the right size and coloring to match the other side. If you find the right size you could always paint the emblem and then sand off the paint on the raised letters in order to get both sides to match.

Good luck in your search and please post photos of what you decide to do.

the bikes far from stock anyway, actually prefer the black, it's just getting the right sizes and prefer suzuki both sides.
