Fork Gaters on '80 GS1000G
What do you guys think? I bought some split gaters for my front forks and installed them last night. Since I am running an ATK fork brace, I have to modify that a bit so it will show as paritally missing in the pic. I think they look better than the wimpy fork tubes and they match well with all the black of the fairing and the tires.

I like them. I've done the same with my 850L, although I did it to hide rust pitting.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zH8w8Civs8ejBJWjdvYi1LNTg&resourcekey=0-hlJp0Yc4K_VN9g7Jyy4KQg&authuser=fussbucket_1%40msn.com&usp=drive_fs

I like them. Always been a big fan of them. Periodically you have to pull them up and make sure no fork oil is leaking. They do a good job of hiding that...
