    750T to E?

About 7 to 12 minutes ago I was given a 1982 GS750 t, The bike needs a complete restor so I was wondering how hard would it be to convert it to an E model..

Brandon, if you have all the parts, keep it as a T. they are beauties as is, but can really be sweet with a little tweeking.

You'll have to get the info from the hive as to whether T to an E is possible. I have a tank, tail cowl, seat, front fender, headlight and side cover set for the '80-81 750E if you want to try them out. I know the 750E frame has a bracket that holds the tail cowl that the T doesn't have.

        the frame is gone.

If I remember correctly, the '82 750E had a bit of a computerized instrument panel? That would be the hardest part of the conversion.

If you really want an E that badly, why not sell the T and get an E? Much easier, probably also quicker and cheaper.

Yeah, I'd keep it a "T". Start a thread of parts needed...you may be surprised what's out there.

Im thinking, just making it a single seat like my first 1000g so the tail doesnt matter i suppose. The tank would be the main question at this point

Brandon, here is a thread with the parts I have. '80-81 1100/750E parts The first post, it has what I was asking, but I'll work with you if needed. I'm not actively pushing the thread, so I will hold anything you want, just let me know and I'll ad your name to the parts.
