Here is my E. I have since removed the ugly sissybar much to my wifes dismay but I am on the look out for a 70's 8 valve to bring back to life.

It doesnt help with your question but I have an E and I think the T is infinity more attractive. Its really a personal preferences thing but I think my E is kinda ugly compared to the GS I had back in the 70's.

I guess it still rings true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Boriqua, I think your bike is a fine looking example.Larry

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Here are a couple of pix without the sissybar. In a perfect world I would lose the rack but I make post office deliveries about 3 times a week so its a function over looks thing. I am considering making a brown leather seat cover and maybe adding rubber knee pads to the tank but havent decided. I also remembered that I had set the chrome airbox covers aside when I started tinkering and got them back on. Still
There is something to be said for the old chrome front fender and rounded gas tank of the old 8V 70's model. Having said that .. I am pretty impressed with the triple disk brakes so trade offs. It has the original rear shocks which are AWESOME but they have lost some paint and I am not sure what to paint them with. I may just steel wool them to a uniform patina and let it be.
Here is a pic of the older 1977 model I snatched from the net. The one I had back then was red
