Valve cover side covers, are they universal?

I'm missing two of them, and the remaining two aren't great. Are they universal to all of the dohc gs bikes? For instance, will these https://m.ebay.com/itm/1980-Suzuki-G...from=R40&rt=nc for a 1980 gs750e work on my 1984 gs1100gk?

You need the round type caps. Check partzilla for part cross reference interchangeability.

The round type were common to most, but not all of the 8-valve GSs. The 650s, for example, had a different fitment. As Ed said, check part numbers.

The 650s and the 450s used a different style cover. Their mounting screws were hidden, accessible from underneath, and had to be removed after removing the valve cover.
Every other four-cylinder GS with two valves per cylinder used the round caps with two screws on the side.
