    GS850G seat cover

Can anyone recommend a seat cover for my '79 GS850G that will look as close a possible to OE? This one on Ebay looks like the right top pattern but there are no pictures of it actually installed on a seat. Does anyone have experience with this cover?:

    Thanks in advance

With more than 30years of upholstery experience, we produce only the best quality and professionally hand crafted seat cover. We observe every detail to ensure a total facelift of your bikes?. High-grade industrial strength marine vinyl are used to ensure durability.

I've installed several Pit Replica seat covers. There is one on this bike that I installed myself:

The problem with PIT Replica, is they don't seem to really know what they are selling. Considering that a 1979 through 1981 GS850 and all GS1000G have the same seats, a person can't easily be certain that they are ordering the right thing when the descriptions from the seller don't accurately reflect the nature of that they are selling. That said, it is a quality cover, priced very competitively. It was a pretty tight fit to install. It has "Suzuki" stenciled on the back, which as far as I know, the original did not have. That logo could be painted over or removed. Lots of people on this forem have had good luck with these. I also have one on a 1978 GS1000G, although I paid to have that one installed. Thanks for posting the link to the UK replicas. I have a Guiliari seat for the GS1000E seat which I had repaired by the installation of an additional panel near the back by the Suzuki logo. I may switch, although the Giulari seat is so uncomfortable that I never ever use it.

Got my new Pit Replica seat cover. Had to buy another seat off EBay in order to get a decent seat pan and I also got a better foam piece. I'm holding off putting the grab rail on until I'm sure the cover is the way I want it.

            Looks great.
            How pliable was the material?
Obviously too early in the Spring to bake the cover in the sun but did you warm up the new cover before installing to get rid of wrinkles/creases?

Yes, I put it in the oven, set at about 150f for about 5 minutes. Comes out very soft and pliable.
