Brass tubes for VM carbs

VM carbs have a choke pick up tube that's pressed into the carb body, and the float bowl has an overflow tube.
The choke pickup tube has a plug in the end that sticks up, which restricts the size, and it's also cross-drilled near the carb body, just above the point where it's pressed into the body. One option in terms of replacing it would be to find an old carb body and cut it apart for the tube.
As for the overflow tube in the float bowl, I've never studied that on Mikuni carbs, but I've replaced the tubes on Keihin carbs before. If you check the archives, I've posted some photos before on the process.Ed
