45110 Carbs cleaning & reassembly - first timer questions (pics)

    I'm in a GS850GT revival project
I cleaned the carbs (ID 45110) following rigorously Nessism procedure; Gunk dip, etc.
All stock parts. Stock jetting. (see picture 1)
Before I reassemble the whole thing, I have a couple of questions.
Q1. Pilot fuel jet 4 and Pilot Screw 2 slots are damaged (see pictures 2, 3). Should I dare to reinstall them anyway?
Q2. If not, what brand and source would you suggest (Keyster Kit?) since OEM doesn't seem available anymore.
Q3. All four aluminium carb body plugs popped up in the cleaning process (see picture 4). Do they need to be glued or pressed fit in some way or I just leave them sitting there?
Q4. Shall the slides lubricated before reinserting them? With what?
Q5. After such cleaning, at which position shall the main (between carb 2&3) throttle ajustement screw positioned: all retracted, slightly opening the throttle valve?
    Thanks for your help,
    Phil

New pilot jets are available from Jetsrus.com or Z1 Enterprises.
D don't oil the slides Set the throttle screw to just lifting the valve. Adjust as needed after starting

Thanks Big T for your advice.
      Any other input for Q#3?

Those plugs are tapered, or the hole is, and they swedge in place. You can use a soft piece of wood, or similar, and tap them in, not too hard, to secure them into the carb body. Some carbs come with thick rubber donut pieces, which sit on top of the plug and seal any possible vacuum leaks. I should think that some loctite on the plugs would be a good solution. I've the same situation with some carbs I'm working on now, so I'll research and let you know what I find out.

Edit: Found this info about loctite compatibility with gasoline...

        All Loctite® Anaerobic Sealants are Compatible Including #242®, 243, 542, 545, 565, 567, 569, 571, 572, 577, 580, 592
