needing exhaust

82 gs650, the factory pipes are about shot, PO has screwed a couple alu patches on each, a couple rust holes, and since the side box supports clamp around the end they look to be kinda droopy, what's the best replacement, so what's most people doing for exhaust?

There are a lot of them on EBAY right now, and for a good price, make sure you check the shipping price. I picked up a beautiful set for my '83 GS750ES off of EBAY

I have 2 1982 GS650G's that I have restored in the last few years. The second one is nearly completed. I bought stock exhaust used off eBay for each. The stock exhaust are not plentiful but they are available. I made sure that the ones I bought were from bikes that had relatively low miles and not too much rust on the surface. They ran me about $250 each shipped. Look great and work well.
