    Running issue, fuel related ?

Been having an intermittent issue with my 1979 GS750, not sure if fuel or electric related so thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts. Bike starts well and runs well once warmed up, but occasionally seems to start bogging down, have to really twist the throttle to keep it going. Weird as some days no issues at all, then others it will get this misfire. Guess it could be down to a number of things, fuel tap/filter, faulty plug or condenser ?. Thought before I start tinkering I would throw it out there and see if anyone has any thoughts,

Is all your maintenance up to date?

1A) (NEW) Trying to diagnose running problems on a bike with an unknown maintenance history. Common maintenance items like clean carbs, properly adjusted valves, no air leaks in the intake system (airbox, carb boots), a clean gas tank (no rust), and a properly functioning petcock are 100% mandatory for the bike to run properly.

Check the fuel cap vent... when plugged or partially plugged, this will cause issues at different times based on fuel level. Then check fuel flow.
The stock, vacuum petcock should go in the trash... My opinion only
