    Any quality suppliers

Has anyone found any quality suppliers of fuel sending unit gaskets for a '79 GS750? Was looking at my tank and I can see very visible cracking along the edges of the gasket extending toward the center.

You wouldn't happen to have a source you could point me to, would you? I've looked around and can only find aftermarket. I'd much rather go OEM if it is still available.

There is no reference in the parts fishe to the 1979 GS750E having a fuel gauge. Are you sure your bike is a 1979? Or could it be an L model? The L had a fuel gauge. Seal PN 34825-45100

part number Ed posted above is for the full circle fuel sender gasket.
          It’s slightly cheaper at partshark.com. 4.70 + 10.20 shipping=$14.90
alpha sports is 7.62 + 8.99 shipping, but they have a $20 minimum order according to the site.

the half circle gasket is apparently NLA.

It was sold to me as a '79 GS750, title and frame both say 750E, and unless the previous owner went through the trouble of finding front and back alloy rims and the likes, I think I have a 750E. lol I have noticed that all the prints for the 750E doesn't show it having a fuel sending unit, so I had wondered if they snagged a tank from another model.
I will say that it is highly modified, though. I'm currently working on getting an OEM air box for it so that I can have the air side the proper spec when it comes to the carb jets.
Since the '79 E didn't have a fuel gauge, it's possible the previous owner snagged a tank from another model. But the Speed/Tach gauge replacement I'm putting on to replace the gauge they put on (they removed the full cluster, and made a mount for just the speedo), has speed, tach, NPS, fuel, blinker indicator, high beam indicator, and gear position indicator all in the same size as the original solo speedo. I'll just have to deal with wiring it in, which won't be too hard.

Thank both of you, Nessism and Rich! You've both pointed me in the direction I needed.
