    Gs250t CV to VM carbs

I was unable to find a forum about this if there is one I would like to know.

I'm looking into changing out the carburetor on my bike since I can't find many parts and it has limited tuning capabilities.

Has anyone ever done this on an old bike? And what do I need to look for when matching a VM to a CV besides being able to mount to engine boot.

I like a challenge and I don't mind tinkering with the carb. I'd just like to have a carb that I can actually get parts for.

There are quite a few sets of used carbs for your bike on eBay. What's wrong with the carbs you have, and what parts do you need?

Well, for one I haven't been able to find a rebuild kit for this unit. No air correction kit. No main jets, No pilot jet etc... there are aftearket, but I don't trust those.

Also would love to have a bit more response and the tunability.

Might be easier to buy a bike with those carbs, but in my area old bikes are scarce and prices for em are high.
