I fitted the Delkevic pipe 3 years ago and it have been great. Good sound compared with the old standard system.

I run a supertrap on my 80 1100L, and Delkevic on my 80 850. Both are very nice pipes, the Supertrap is more or less period correct, tuneable and sounds great, as does the Delkevic.

I understand that there is a lot of interchangeability with Suzuki exhausts. Does anyone know if a GS1100E 4:1 would fit the GS1000S? I have an old Hindle, maybe 90's for the 1100E. They list different pipes for the 1000 vs 1100 so probably not. I'm getting confused if there are two threads on this subject, one says chrome V&H or ... Anyway I'm on the fence about whether to use or sell that Hindle. It weighhs 10 lbs and with stock exhaust and centerstand removed that's big weight savings. Plus you can pull apart with the springs to change oil.

Looking at the Ripplerock site Hindle does make a system that fits both bikes.
          I would contact them directly.
