Are these exhaust connectors right for a 81 650G?

Trying to source a couple "exhaust connectors" (the slip-in gaskets that go in the 2 & 3 pre-crossover pipes) for my bike. Searching the part number (14771-47020-H17) finds a whole lot of Partzilla type stores where they're either out of stock or "estimated to ship in 2 weeks" (so out of stock but they keep my payment as an interest free loan for 2 weeks before refunding me). I also found one ebay listing selling some: https://www.ebay.com/itm/303268365639

These look like they're solid metal (possibly something soft and crushable). I'd been led to believe the connectors (at least for a 750) were fibrous - that's what the guide on gsarchives show.

There are a few of the Partzilla knockoffs that have actual pictures of the part, and they, too, look like they're solid metal.

    Do these look right?

I ordered a set of 4 from this seller for my 1980 GS850GL. They are correct and look like good quality (not metal). I have not put them in yet however.

They are a composite material thats just coated. Spread the pedals on the female side of the crossover and test fit into the reciever..not much.. but be sure the sections are spread enough. put the gasket on the end of the MALE side and line it up and insert it. Fully seating the pipes together should suck the gasket deep into the female side. May need to take a flat tip and seat the gasket. then clamp it down AFTER the collars at the head are tightened and the muffler hangers are gently snugged up.Ideac is get everything closey in place and lat thing that gets tightened is the crossover gaskets.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
