Referring to #3, the little metal rings that reside inside of the rubber boots that feed the carbs from the airbox. How in the world do I get new ones in? I've got new boots, as well as the rings.

Already have new ones, need advice on getting them installed. Anyone know if it's safe to run without them? The rubber boots are new OEM parts as well.

I got them for "Freebie", tried to install, gave up. Currently running without. No apparent problems.
