Boy, I almost showed you my screw up a while ago... same issue, different cause ... figured you had it covered though. Same symptoms.

+1 on that...I have had the BDST 36s on for a couple years now, and they easily out perform the stock 34mm/stg-3 combo, without anything other than re-degreeing the cams to 107. Some here said the 36s would bring an 'over-carbed' condition and sacrifice of power down low, but it hasn't been the case....the dramatic difference in power has me wondering if the stock set-up wasn't actually under carbed.

dropping those 1150 cams in her I bought off of you a while back Tony will be my next and only motor mod ( at least with THIS motor, someday I will find either an 1150 motor or another 83 1100E motor to build from the crank up, but I didnt want to punch her out on the stock motor) which leads me to my next question: If one were to NOT degree the 1150 cams, and just drop them in, what would happen? More to the point, whats the difference in degrees using the stock marks on the 1100 vs the 1150, lobe center and lift? Anyone try just dropping them in there?

but the worst that can happen is that your bike runs worse than before.
