when i cleaned my carburetors, i also cleaned out my gas tank, and fuel pet cock, i dissassembled the highlighted parts of the fuel petcock and cleaned all of the gunk out of it, the bike had been setting up for over 5 years. well when i put the "Green" highlighted part of the petcock back on, the leak is at the "Yellow" highlighted part, there wasn't an o ring or anything there when i took it off, is there supposed to be one? if not, how do i stop the leak?

I didn't know the petcocks came apart there... none of mine do.
The fuel nipple on all of my petcocks is press fit into the housing & isn't supposed to come apart.

a 1981 suzuki gs 650 G,
It didn't look like it was able to come out to me at first, but when i was cleaning it, i noticed it moved a little, so i lightly twisted it back and forth and it came off easily, i probably isn't really SUPPOSED to come off that easily, but being that the bike set up for several years with gas still in it, it might have deteriorated any substance that was supposed to keep it from coming off like that.

No need to drain the tank - just make sure the tap isn't set to prime and doesn't drip. Wipe off any fuel residue , ideally with thinners, and glue the bit back in with a thin smear of araldite (making sure you don't get any araldite in to the internals).79 GS1000S

yeah, it's not supposed to come loose - I've had a couple that did the same thing.
Best to just replace the whole petcock - try Z1 Enterprises:
Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.
Theirs are the same as OEM and cost around $45.

yea, i searched everywhere and couldn't find it at any local stores, someone told me the US "Version" of that is called JB-Weld,

JB Weld is different - we can get that over here as well. Araldite is a 2 part epoxy that sets clear (or nearly clear) and is resistant to petrol (gas).79 GS1000S
