    opp's i did it now!!! motor blown up

    well i just had to tell every one what booboo i made.
    this is whats left of my plugs.
    i tested the cylinder's and found
    good compression on #1
    #2 none
    #3 none
    #4 none
    so i guess the 750e it dead now.. time it get the 1100 done..

    Not sure if you can get replacement insulators for those?

          plugs

          well i guess when you ride as hard as i do this will happen from time too time.
          but this is the first gs 16v i'v killed. but hey there many more where that came from. I'm going to just install the 1100 motor now but i got to get a head gasket cheap.. any one know how much a copper one is and why is copper better?

            were you running NOS, Too much timing? How many years were those plugs in the motor?

              no NOS. new plugs weeks old, just over leaned it. i was running about 95mph when see started to miss and over heat but i spanked my buddy on his twin cam HD.. 09 Harly spanked by a 81 750e. we wont talk about the kit in it lol its just a lil old 750e well it was lmao..

                you and chef bill should get togather and compare pistons
                i run my stuff harder than anybody ive ever met and the only time i had a set of plugs like that was with an alky turbo running 45lbs of boost and only enough fuel for 30lbs.
                anyways,
                shlt happens i guess.

                    1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
                    1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

                          Dubious about those plugs!! Let's see the pistons and chambers, so we can judge whether Bill retains his title.
