    Carb kits

As the general consensus here is that K&L kits are junk, and being that I used them last year on my rebuild , I have 3 questions:
    1. who makes good kits?
    2. Where can they be purchased?
    3. And should I replace mine?

I have used them a couple of times with success.
I clean the Mikuni jets and don't use the kit jets.
The only things I use in the kits are the gaskets, idle mixture screws, o-rings, float needle and seat.

I have had ZERO problems with K&L kits & I have used over 80 of them. Ray.

I'm with Ray - never had a problem on the kits I've used. If you don't need the whole kit though the individual parts that you do need can work out cheaper (depending on what you want of course)..

I don't know what postage is to your neck of the woods but these guys price reasonably and carry a lot of stock:

        79 GS1000S
        79 GS1000S (another one)
        80 GSX750
        80 GS550
        80 CB650 cafe racer
75 PC50 - the one with OHV and pedals...
75 TS100 - being ridden (suicidally) by my father
