Hi,
Call them to make sure this petcock will fit your bike:
Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.
It's listed as fitting a GS1000GLX/SZ, among lots of others.
Thank you for your indulgence,

You might want to measure the spacing between the mounting holes before you call them. The early petcocks have a different spacing than the later petcocks.Ed
To measure is to know.

True, Ed.
The petcock above is for 44mm spacing between the mounting bolts. There should be mounting adapter plates available. Give Z1 a call to be sure. They give good phone.
Thank you for your indulgence,

If it is 44 mm should be no problem. If you find the seating between the petcock and the tank is not good---leaking a bit after connecting up and the oval ring in place etc---then make a gasket to fit from standard cork/rubber which you can get from any auto store for cheap and this will seal things right up! Mine is working flawlessly. Just remember to make a hole for the reserve!
Good Luck
