Hey guys, I put the bike all back together the way it was when I bought it, and it ran fine when I bought it. Well, I fired it up and it idled and rev'd fine with the choke closed.

Then I put the megaphone exhaust on, which is the same as the original exhaust except it has the 1 hole in the middle of the muffler like stock and then 5 holes surrounding the center hole. Anyway, with that exhaust on it still idled and rev'd fine... No issue.

I moved the float bowl vent lines up and down and that seemed to have no affect on the way the motor ran, only when I put my finger over them did the idle drop down.

So it would seem that my issue was when I first put the aftermarket exhaust on and didn't have it completely bolted up.

Next thing I'm going to try just for my curiosity is to take the air filter out while the engine is idling and see what happens...

I have a set of pod filters on the way too and sometime maybe next week I'll screw with those but for right now I want to see how the bike feels with the stock air box setup so I'll have a baseline for setting up the pod filters.

*Out of more curiosity, while the engine was idling, I removed the air filter and the idle didn't change nor did the throttle response. So apparently having massive exhaust leaks or just having like straight pipes does more to screw up the factory carb settings than not having an air filter or having a low-restriction air filter setup.
