1981 Suzuki GS 650 GL jet size?

I just bought a 1981 Suzuki GS 650 GL. It ran fine when I bought it but has slowly declined to the stage it's in now. I've been messing with it for a couple weeks and have changed the spark plugs, new air filters, new battery, oil change and cleaned the carbs it's at the point now were i can get it to start but after a couple seconds it dies abruptly. I've been trying to figure out the original jet size, but have had no luck right now I have 132.5 on the main jet. If anyone knows the original jet size or has any ideas what could be wrong it would be greatly appreciated.

You said "new air filters". That sounds rather plural, hinting that you might have pod filters intsalled?

How about the exhaust? Is it stock or is it a header?

Both of those will affect your jetting requirements.

The STOCK main jet size is 110, assuming you have a US model. Installing pods can raise the requirement to 120-122.5, installing a header can easily take it up to the 132.5 that you have installed, but only plug chops or a dyno run with an air/fuel meter will tell for sure.
