My airscrew was stuck, so I drilled it and attempted to use a small screw extractor. Now I am bidding on a replacement set of carbs on EBAY. The original ones that were on my project bike were full of rust and most every passageway was clogged anyway...
One possibility, drill a small hole in the middle with a 'antiwalk' bit, then get an old bit you don't mind tearing up, and install the shank end, coated with JB weld, into the hole, let cure fully, and then pull and unscrew at the same time. Good Luck...

Make sure you have a tight fitting screwdriver that engages the full slot in the screw. You may have to custom grind one using a bench grinder. Another thing that will help is some lubricant on the screw - PB Blaster works well and no, WD-40 is not a penetrating oil. Back the screw out until it starts to bind and then move it back in. In and out, back and forth until it starts to come out a little farther each time. Using heat on the carb body can also help. Take your time and it will come out.Ed
To measure is to know.
