    BS34 Carb slides

Is there a way to repair the rubber gaskets. The whole slide is 100bucks to replace. I have a extra set of carbs I want to rebuild. Thanks

You might want to post an ad in the Parts Wanted forum. Lots of people have parts carbs (including me). How many do you need?

      rubber on slides

The rubbers on the slides seem to be letting go right where the thicker outer ring is connected. On all but 3. The slides all have a nasty yellow stain on 1 side. The rest of the rubber looks OK. Repairable or junk?

Look through the rubber on the slides into a bright light or sunlight and see if you can see pin holes or holes in the diaphram.

I didn't see any pin holes. But the outside ring has places where you can see light where it's coming loose from the rest of the diaphram.

I think i'll just let these carbs sit a while. Costs too much to fix them up for no reason.
