Asking for a friend...

My buddy has an 81 650L and is having trouble with it dumping fuel into the ( if your standing infront of the bike ) second carb from the right. He has checked for and has good spark. He took the carbs off to check the floats and they are all good and so are the float needles. What could be causing this crazyness?

Thanks for any and all imput. I will be going over there tomorrow to help him. Hopefully with some guidance from the smart guys and gals here on the gsr.

Hi,

The carbs (and cylinders) are numbered 1 through 4 starting at your left hand (clutch hand) as you sit on the bike. Your friend is having trouble with the #2 carb. Check this out...

Yeah right after I posted this I thought of the petcock being bad and leaking down through the vaccum hose. I called him to see how od the petcock is and it is the original one. So tomorrow when I go over there I'm going to check out the petcock.
