    450 muffler nut spinning

finally got the new chain today, so the process of removing the rear wheel goes swimmingly until I start removing the nuts that hold the left muffler to the frame. One nut comes off, but the other nut spins but won't come off. This in itself wouldn't be so unusual, except that the bolt its on is not spinning too. I guess I'm doomed to either cut the bolt off, or dremel the nut off, which is fine, except I don't have a dremel. I'm going to try heating it up and see if that makes any difference. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe the bolt is stuck in place so that's why it doesn't turn. Can you get anything behind the nut and pry out on it while turning it, it maybe stripped. A small "nutsplitter" tool might do it. terrylee

I heated it up with a propane torch, then started to wrench on it again, and it broke off oh well, at least I was able to proceed and get the new chain on and adjusted.
