hey i just have one question... how do i remove the old oring on jet needle i have a 82 gs450t and im doing the carbs... one more question is the needle pressed in because i have the carb that has the main jet at the bottle of the bowl... idk? but anyways thanks for reading hope u can helpTags: None

the guy at the suzuki shop told me i wouldn't be able to take it off and thats pressed in.... idk i just want to clean the carb out really good

@ rmathew....can you snap off a quick pic of the jet you are referring to. I just finished a complete tear down and rebuild of what sounds like the same carb. I can tell you what does/doesn't come out .

hey man sorry i already assembled the carb together... i was able to get the main jet and pilot jet out... not the needle for the main though... i just left it in there... and i was able to get the mixture screw out as well just kept turing it.. and gave the carb body a few hits with the palm and it came out
